The Monthly Tournament is a recurring event offering players a chance to win exciting prizes. It is divided into two categories: Classic and Professional, catering to different preferences of Buraco players.
Prizes
- 1st Place (each category): $500 Amazon gift card.
- 2nd Place (each category): $250 Amazon gift card.
Qualification Phase
- Open to all players, but only subscribed players can participate in the main tournament.
Each match won within the app will add 1 point to the player in the monthly qualifying ranking.
- Separate rankings are maintained for Classic and Professional categories.
- The top 64 players in each ranking by the end of the month qualify for the main tournament.
- Rankings reset on the first day of each month.
Main Tournament
- Starts on the first day of each month and lasts for six days.
- Matches occur daily at a fixed time.
- Qualified players access their match via a “Play” button on the Monthly Tournament home page.
Structure
- 1 VS 1 match, Ko
- Matches last one hand, with a 30-second timer per move.
- Winners advance to the next round, culminating in the finals to crown the monthly champions.
